The origins of Plank Road Forestry started with land management where providing our clients the highest quality tree seedlings has always been critical. In that ongoing effort, PRF has partnered with one of the nation’s leading tree improvement companies to assist with their genetic progeny test sites. 

Our seasoned foresters provide tree improvement services throughout the southeastern United States.  These services include:

• Progeny test site preparation
• Setup and layout
• Planting
• Collection of growth and quality measurements 

Our Forestry Technicians are well versed in different types of progeny test site layouts including single tree, six-tree row plots, and lot/block plots.   In addition, we offer an extensive range of maintenance services within the tree improvement division.  These services include, forestry mowing/mulching, hand-cutting, herbaceous weed control, and fertilization applications on client progeny test sites.
